(1) blanking and punching of precision metal stamping parts are the processes to separate the blank. The blanking and punching process is exactly the same, except for different purposes. When discharging, the separated part is the finished product, and the rest is the waste around. The punch is to obtain the hole, the punched plate is finished product, and the separated part is waste. Blanking and punching holes are collectively called blanking. The punch and concave die of the blanking die both have sharp cutting edges, and there is a gap between the punch and the concave die equal to 5% to 10% of the thickness of the plate, so as to ensure that the incision is neat and less burr.
(2) bending is to make the workpiece obtain various bending angles of different shapes. The working part that makes the workpiece bend on the bending die should have an appropriate radius r of the circular Angle, so as to avoid cracking when the workpiece bends.
(3) drawing: drawing is the process of making plate blank into cup or box shaped parts. The punch and edge of the drawing die should be rounded to avoid the workpiece being pulled apart. The gap between punch and die should be slightly larger than plate thickness to reduce friction. In order to prevent folds, the edge of the blank needs to be compressed by pressing plate. Sheet metal stamping is an additive method to separate or deform sheet metal by means of punching die. It is also called cold stamping because in most cases the plate is not heated.
The commonly used plates are low carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and their alloys. They have high plasticity, low deformation resistance and are suitable for cold stamping. Heju precision hardware stamping parts accurate size, good interchangeability; Surface smooth, widely used in automotive, electrical, instrumentation and aviation industries.
